The resistance is reflected in the bending resistance and transverse cracking resistance of all NC lathe tools. High speed steel (HSS) has strong resistance, and artificial polycrystalline diamond is brittle in tool data.

The wear resistance is not only reflected in the later wear function, but also in the wear resistance of other forms of tool wear. The wear resistance of artificial diamond-like tools is very good. According to the wear resistance, they are: cubic boron nitride, ceramics, cemented carbide and cermet, and high-speed steel.
